Howard Donnell is a writer, director, and producer whose work blends emotional authenticity with spiritual depth. He has created short films, documentaries, and commercials across the U.S., Eastern Europe, and China. His credits include You Want Love, The Li Yun Sheng Story, and Interview With a Modern Artist. His work has screened at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, Port Townsend Film Festival, and Garden State Film Festival.
Howard has taught film, literature, and writing at Albright College, Alvernia University, and Kunming Medical University’s Hai Yuan College. Before working abroad, he founded Creative Video Productions and Proverbial Studios, producing narrative and commercial work.
Howard’s stories often explore themes of grace, failure, and reconciliation—timeless ideas drawn from personal experience and universal longing. He is currently developing a slate of original feature films, including Duet, a music-driven character drama, and Knox Hill, a redemptive story set in the aftermath of the pandemic. He lives and works in West Lawn, Pennsylvania.
